THE ALTER EAGLES ON VIDEO
Norden Farm Centre for the Arts 2019
When the stage is being enough, the Alter Eagles sometimes play with a string quartet. Here's the fabulous Spectre Quartet soundchecking Wasted Time Reprise from the Hotel California album at Norden Farm Centre for the Arts, September 2019.
Live at Legends of Rock in 2017
Legends of Rock is a fantastic event put on each year in Great Yarmouth an this was our first time visiting in 2017. We had a whale of a time - and this was the 'quiet' Sunday tea-time slot! This is Take It Easy.
Live at Legends of Rock in 2017
There's something about this song that never fails to thrill. Even when you've played hundreds - thousands? - of times, it's still a wonderful experience and a great thing to be a part of. The is Hotel California.
Live at the Ropetackle Arts Centre, Shoreham-by-Sea
Here's the band playing the fabulous Ropetackle Arts Centre in Shoreham, West Sussex in the summer of 2014. We've been playing the venue for six or seven years now and this was one of the best ever gigs there - so we're delighted that someone caught part of it on camera. The video gives you a good idea of how much fun an Alter Eagles show is. We certainly enjoyed ourselves!
Live at the Komedia, Brighton
Here's the band playing the Komedia in Brighton, June 2011. Thanks to everyone who came along but especially to the guy who spent the entire evening dancing at the front in a full Morph suit (you know who you are). Great night and one of the best (well, loudest) audience singalongs on Take It To The Limit we've ever had.
Live at the Chichester Festival
This compilation was put together of the band playing the Chichester Jazz and Real Ale Festival in the summer of 2010. Great venue and a real music loving crowd. We were on the Beach Boys Smile and the two bands worked really well togehter. The video features returning lead vocalist Sam Confrey along with Colin Moore (guitars, vocals) Jay Stezaker (guiars, vocals) Alan Tomkins (keys, guitar, vocals) Rob Beattie (bass, acoustic guitar, lead vocals) and Paul Sampson (drums and percussion).
Live at the Eastbourne Bandstand
Here's an older compilation of the Alter Eagles playing the Bandstand in Eastbourne on the south coast of England. This gig featured lead vocalist Sam Confrey along with Colin Moore (guitars, vocals) Jay Stezaker (guiars, vocals) Alan Tomkins (keys, guitar, vocals) Rob Beattie (bass, acoustic guitar, lead vocals) and Mark (Basher) Davenport (drums and percussion).
Live at the Worthing Pavilion
This is a compilation of some of our favourite Eagles songs performed in front an enthusiastic audience at the Pavilion Theatre on Worthing sea front. It features the band's previous lead vocalist but otherwise the line up's the same. Colin Moore (guitars, vocals) Jay Stezaker (guiars, vocals) Alan Tomkins (keys, guitar, vocals) Rob Beattie (bass, acoustic guitar, lead vocals) and Paul Sampson (drums and percussion).
Yes folks, it's an entire Alter Eagles show at the Ropetackle Arts Centre in Shoreham - from soundcheck to encore - filmed as a single timelapse video by our good friends at Really Big Smile Photography. There's no sound of course, but it's a great insight into what makes a typical Alter Eagles show work and maybe gives you a taste of what it was like to be there on the night.
